Deep Run Softball is for players ages 3 to 18. We offer players three levels of play: Intramural and Travel (as well as a Challenger Division in conjunction with Baseball) Close to 300 young athletes participate in our softball programs. The program focuses on skills development and fun for all players. Our mission is continuous improvement in player development, fields, coaching, tournaments, and forming a softball community. 

We are excited to announce that Deep Run Softball is now an official Little League affiliated program!

WHY LITTLE LEAGUE: Little League softball is a youth program designed to introduce girls to the game of softball in a fun, structured, and age-appropriate environment. It focuses on teaching basic skills, teamwork, and understanding of the game while promoting sportsmanship, confidence, and enjoyment.

DEEP RUN SOFTBALL LITTLE LEAGUE GOALS: Deep Run Softball plans to develop National Little League teams that gives players the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of Little League competition, represent their community on a national stage, and continue growing their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Deep Run will be hosting tryouts for these teams in the summer.

SPRING REGISRTATION REQUIREMENTS: In order to participate in Deep Run Softball, families must register on both TeamSideline and Sports Connect, with the exception of 19U. Sports Connect is the official league-management platform for Little League Softball. Registration through Sports Connect is necessary in order to maintain Little League compliance. There is NO FEE associated with registering on Sports Connect for families. We have decided to defer this payment to Deep Run Softball. *You can register to play at Deep Run regardless of where you live. Your residency will only matter if you plan to try out for a Little League team. 

TO REGISTER:
1. Register on TeamSideline.
2. Once you have registered in TeamSideline, follow http://leagues.bluesombrero.com/drvs to register on Sports Connect.

IN SPORTS CONNECT:
1. Create a user name and password.
2. Follow the steps to register your player by entering their information and selecting a program.
3. IMPORTANT: You do NOT need to submit proof of residency. You will be able to bypass this.
4. For School Attendance Eligibility - select the only default "Other/None of the Above.
5. You CAN register regardless of where you live. If a message pops up saying you have not met the criteria, just click "Continue Registration." This should take you no longer then 5 minutes to complete.

FAQ

What does the Schedule look like?

Your child's practice schedule can vary based on their coach. Typically, expect one practice per week and a game during the week and/or on the weekend for Intramural Softball.

The Spring season plays games on Saturday and runs from April through early June.

10U-19U Deep Run teams will play in the Bux-Mont series for the Spring 2026 season. There will be 4 home games and 4 away games

6U-8U will play in house games.


What Equipment will be Needed?

6U - Needed: Fielding glove & softball cleats (not metal spikes). Suggested: Helmet & Bat

8U - Needed: Fielding glove & softball cleats (no metal spikes). Suggested: Helmet, Bat, Fielding Mask

10U/12U/15U - Needed: Fielding Glove, Softball Cleats (no metal spikes), Fielding Mask. Strongly Suggested: Helmet, Bat

Suggested items can also be borrowed. Please notify your coach in advance.

When do we Register?

Spring: Opens in Dec and runs through Feb with late reg. options until March.


Fall:  Opens around June and runs through August

Opening Day is a fun parade for our baseball, softball and quick ball players through the complex to celebrate together the start of our Spring season.

Summer Clinics - FREE

Players ages (8-15) meet on Mondays July-Aug at Softball Field 5 for a fun night of skills & scrimmages. Coaches will divide players by age and assign to different fields. Register Here! More details below.

FACILITIES

Located off of Callowhill Road in Hilltown Township, Deep Run Valley Sports Association has 5 baseball and 5 softball fields for all age groups and divisions.  Parking lots are located next to each of these fields.  Several handicapped parking spots are reserved next to the Majors and AAA fields. Traffic is one way throughout the complex. Enter off Callowhill and exit onto Hilltown Pike.

Located between the Connie Mack and Majors fields, we have a staffed concession stand selling an assortment of food, snacks, and beverage items.  Bathrooms are located throughout the complex and are regularly cleaned.

All Heart Winter Clinics - Winter 2026

Deep Run Softball is excited to be partnering with All Heart Softball Academy to bring you two Softball Skills Clinics. We will have a team of experienced and talented instructors; each clinic will focus on developing fundamental softball skills.

 These clinics are open to girls ages 7–12 who are currently registered with Deep Run Softball. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners looking to learn the basics to more advanced players wanting to sharpen their technique. Please be sure to bring your glove, bat, helmet, and mask (optional).

Softball Winter Clinics:

Deep Run Softball is excited to offer a full lineup of Winter Clinics designed to help players strengthen their skills, build confidence, and stay game-ready for the upcoming spring season. Led by our experienced Deep Run coaching staff, each session focuses on instruction, fundamentals, and player development in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What Players Can Expect:
