in center. Hannah Campbell and Tara Canning handled the pitching duties for
the Lightning. For Campbell and Canning this was their 3rd appearance in a National

performance. Campbell took the ball for the rest of the tournament and pitched
excellent. Her pinpoint control along with the ability to mix speeds with 5 different
pitches gave the Deep Run squad a good opportunity to compete in each game. Salina
Allebach had a wonderful tournament at 2nd while Lexi Detweiler played an excellent
left field and Ashley Ferrante handled the catching duties. Julia Schoenwald was
the anchor at first. Amanda Koenig, Caroline Schoenwald and Laura Alderfer
all turned in strong tournament performances. Jordan Villella, suffering from
a knee injury and out for the season, provided moral support as she anxiously
anticipates getting back on the field. In addition to playing in the tournament
