Deep
Run Lacrosse is open to boys in grades 1st through 8th (girls program coming soon).
Season starts in March and runs through mid-June. Boys in grades 1st through 4th
participate in intramural games at Deep Run. Boys in grades 5th through 8th participate
in travel games competing against other clubs in the area. At Deep Run , we
work
hard and play hard, while teaching all of our youth athletes proper technique,
teamwork, commitment, respect, and love for the game.
Universal
Lacrosse in Doylestown is offering equipment packages to Deep Run players.

Deep
Run Fall Girls Lacrosse - Registration is now open, we have two scheduled
walk-in dates Sunday May 3rd 1:00PM 4:00PM Saturday May 16th 9:00AM
noon. You may register by mail through the end of July. Girls entering
grades 5th 6th 7th & 8th in September 2009, two hour sessions will be on Sundays
broken down: one hour instruction, second hour of games. REGISTARTION
FORM: Please make checks or money orders payable to Deep Run Valley Sports

Spring
2009 Lacrosse - The start of the Spring 2009 season is just around the corner.
We have made some changes to the LAX program that will improve our boys' experiences.
They are outlined below.
Travel Program for 5th
thru 8th grades: 1- Teams will be entered into South East Pennsylvania
Youth Lacrosse Association program: · 7th and 8th
graders will compete in A2 and A3 divisions, · 5th
and 6th graders will compete in B2 and B3 divisions. 2- Teams will be
limited to 18 - 23 players. 3- Based on coaches discretion, players
may have the opportunity to play up in some games, but will be rostered on their
appropriate grade group. 4- Players will register with teams thru Head
coach or coach's representative in Jan 2009. 5- Practices will begin
in Jan 2009. 6- Practices and game attendance is required. If players
are asked to play on an A2 or B2 team, they will be expected to make Lacrosse
top priority over other sports.
Intramural Program
for 1st thru 4th 1- 3rd and 4th graders will play on full-sized
lacrosse fields. 1st and 2nd graders will play on 75% of a full-sized lacrosse
field. 2- 3rd and 4th graders will play a 7v7 with goalie and move to
a 9v9 with goalie format. 1st and 2nd will play a 3v3 with goalie. 3-
3rd and 4th graders will begin practices the 1st week of March on Sundays and
2 weeknights. 1st and 2nd will begin practices the 1st week of April on Sundays
and 1 weeknight. 4- 3rd and 4th graders will strive to play 3-4 scrimmage
games with local programs. 1st and 2nd will strive to play 1-2 scrimmage games
with local programs. The scheduling of the scrimmages will depend on readiness
of teams and availability of opposing teams.
Upper
Bucks Lacrosse Camp -
June 22 - 26, 2009 9 AM - Noon for boys in grades 3 - 8. Camp is open to players

/ Directions - All intramural practices and games
will be played at the DRVSA sports complex. Travel home games will be played at
the Penn Central Middle Schoool.

Coaches may now submit their game summaries online to all of the following newsapapers
at the same time: The Bucks County Herald, The Intelligencer, The News Herald
& Souderton Independent, The Quakertown Free Press, and The Reporter.
