>> I would like to thank Aubrey Tatarowicz, Ange Sariego and their group of volunteers for making Everybody Hits first year a success. The Everybody Hits program is designed to give special needs kids an avenue to enjoy baseball/softball. Aubrey and Ange organized and ran 5 skills training sessions climaxing with an awards ceremony for 12 young athletes. For any of you who had the opportunity to witness any of these sessions it showed us a side of the volunteer players that is truly what Deep Run is all about. Aubrey and Ange and their crew did an exceptional job at organizing and making this a truly fun event for the kids. Please see some of the pictures from the program. Aubrey will be looking to mentor a younger Deep Run player to organize and run this program after she does it next year and then heads off to college. Any volunteers should email me.
