ganize a spring team for
the thirteen year olds.
This may help in the
transition to Connie
Mack league. Spring
league is a more instruc-
tional league and the
competition level is at the
lower end. This will how-
ever give the other Con-
nie Mack coaches an
opportunity to see the
new players that are
coming up.
Player evaluation for
team placement will be
held the beginning of
April. Register early and
remember if you need a
uniform you must come
in or make arrange-
ments to be fitted. If you
outgrew your uniform
try to make arrange-
ments to come in.

has over 400 kids partici-
pating in boys & girls 6/7,
8/9, 10/12
age divisions.
We also welcome back the
13/15
boys age division
after a 4-5 year absence.
On Saturdays @ Bucks-
Mont Indoor Sports Center,
practices had started back
in the beginning of Decem-
ber; games are scheduled
to start Jan. 12 and ex-
pected to continue through
mid-March. Team pictures
are also scheduled for Jan-
uary 12
th
at Pennridge
Central Middle School
Schedule will be posted
soon. There was no room
at BucksMont to have the
pictures taken there this
year. We will work on get-
ting it moved for next year.
Also, there will be an Elks
Free shooting contest at
Central the day of picture
day. Kids could win prizes
for their efforts.
Travel Basketball
For the 2012-2013 season,
Deep Run has 14 travel
teams playing in the ICBA
basketball league. We
have both girls and boys
teams playing at every age
group from Under 9 to Un-
der 13, with some age
brackets having 2 and 3
teams. Teams have been
practicing since mid -
October and all 14 teams
played in the ICBA pre-
season tournament that
was held over a 11 day
span from Dec 6th to Dec
15
th. Three Deep Run
teams made it to the finals
in their respective brack-
ets. The regular season
kicked off on Saturday,
Dec 22nd and will contin-
ue until the first weeks of
March. All teams will play
a 12 game schedule
and playoffs. Many travel
teams also play selected
tournaments through out
the winter, especially over
the holidays. Picture day
Basketball
Connie Mack
will be held at Central Mid-
dle school on Saturday
Jan 12th. A full schedule
of times will be posted
shortly. We have eight
travel adult small hoodies
for sale ($10 each), con-
tact clubhouse if interest-
